Perth is an exceptionally great place to visit when you come to Australia. There are so many places to go that will provide you with experiences of a lifetime!

No matter what type of holiday you wish to have, Perth is ready and waiting for you with its fantastic urban lifestyle. With everything you could possibly wish to see and do, you will find it is all either within Perth city itself or within a cool 30 minutes from the city centre.

Here are our top choices on where to go when you visit Perth:

The Bell Tower

International visitors will love the unique experience of The Bell Tower, as it is one of Western Australia’s most visited attractions. Bell ringing is an ancient art and visitors will get to experience the mystical and wonderful sounds first hand from bells dated back to the 14th century. Not only this, The Bell Tower offers spectacular views spanning 360 degrees so you can take in the wonders of the Perth city skyline and stunning views of the Swan River when you step out onto the open air observation deck located on the sixth floor. This great location is only 5 minutes from Perth city centre.

Perth Zoo

Also found within a stones throw of the city centre is this Western Australian icon known as the Perth Zoo. You will be able to stroll around the lush gardens and get to know some of our famous Australian animals and other local wildlife. You can stick to the Australian Walkabout and Wetlands or you could continue on to explore animals from all around the world such as in the Asian Rainforest where you will be able to see elephants, Sun Bears, tigers and Sumatran Orangutans. If you want to get right into the spirit of it all, think about getting up close and personal to feed a giraffe or even become a Zoo Keeper! There are some free animal feeding sessions and presentations to discover as well.
